Dear First Baptist Family,
In October 2003, God called me to serve with you here at First Baptist Church. It has been a wonderful five years that we have spent loving, serving, crying and rejoicing with you. God has extended His call to me to follow His leading to Chickasha, OK and serve in that community as pastor of College Heights Baptist Church.
I covet your prayers for me and my family. You can be confident that we will continue to pray for this church for God’s blessings and leadership for this church.
My family and I love you from the depth of our heart, and I am also confident that any instability you may experience in the immediate future will be steadied by looking to God and no other for guidance.
We will be around for a few weeks, but my last Sunday to serve with you from the pulpit was this past Sunday. So, I would like to say good-bye and I pray God’s best for you all.
