The Senior Adult Ministry of our First Baptist Church of Crescent provides opportunities for fellowhip and ministries for those ages 55 and up, both for the members of our church and other Seniors who live in our Crescent community.
Our Senior Adult Ministry is called the "CARE & SHARE" MINISTRY.
We have monthly luncheons/programs; planned one-day trips throughout the year; and we also participate in quarterly meetings of our Associational Baptist organization of about 24 other churches. This organization is called K.I.T. (Keep In Touch).
Our Ministry events are planned and arranged by a PLANNING COMMITTEE.
On these webpages, we plan to publish the names and dates for our planned Senior Adult events and activities. We will also provide LINKS to slide shows of our photo albums.

uOur Senior Adult ladies are encouraged to attend the Saturday, Oct 18 Women’s
Ministry Luncheon & bread–making time at 1:00 p.m.
Cathy James, the new Director says: “Come to our church Fellowship Hall, ladies, and join the other ladies for an afternoon of fun and fellowship. We will renew the art of making bread and everyone will take a loaf home. We will have a Bible study and prayer time while the bread is rising. Bring your own loaf pan and click here for a list of the needed ingredients.”
u Oct 27 – MON – K. I. T. Our Senior Adults will leave our church at 10:00 a.m. to attend
K. I. T. at the FBC of Greenfield, OK, which will begin at 11:30 a.m.. Roy will drive our church bus. THERE IS NO COST. Bring your favorite dish! Meat will be provided by the host church.
u Nov 1 – SAT – At 6:00 p.m., our Chicken ‘N Pickin’ (Bluegrass & gospel Music Program)
will feature the DeLancey Trio as our guest musicians!
u Nov 10 – MON – We will take a trip to Spanish Cove Retirement Center for a tour of their facility and a free lunch. The time when we will board our bus at our church will be announced.
Our Senior Adult Ministry is open to all Senior Adults from our community! All are welcome!
